ABOUT US

4 Tunes is Andy Murray, now retired from the daily music business grind.

There used to be some more tunes, but it’s one Tune now. A 45+ year career across most of the aspects of the music business (mostly in London but briefly in California), after a degree in graphic design, has led to experience in extensive areas. These included mostly UK and International marketing, but also music video commissioning, label copy creation, campaign strategy, copywriting, art direction, ad voiceovers, release planning, TV ad creation, A/V editing and audio compilation.

A parallel interest in writing, recording and playing live led to gigs in every club in London, and many collaborations, including recordings with Jeff Porcaro (Toto, Steely Dan), Pete Glenister (Alison Moyet, Kirsty MacColl), Spike Edney (Queen), Neil Murray (Whitesnake, Peter Green, Brian May), Nicky Graham ( The Spiders From Mars), Jay Stapley (Westernhagen), Anthony Drennan (The Corrs, Mike & The Mechanics, Clannad), and songwriting with Boo Hewerdine, Mike Gaffey (‘Rhythm of the Night’), Rolfe Kent and Anthony Drennan.

Other musical adventures have included adding guitar & vocals to The Stiff All-Stars, Slow Fade, Lost Boutique, BGM and Shady Grove.

See the ‘Music’ page.
